The 20-year-old has done enough during a pre-season trial spell at Sixfields to convince Aidy Boothroyd that he is worthy of a permanent deal.
Calling Moult, who left Stoke City at the end of last season, a 'child star who has lost his way,' Boothroyd believes the player can take his chance.
