Barry Stonhill Steps Down

Barry Stonhill took over the chairman from Barry Ward in 1998 and has decided that he will let someone else take the position for next season. Stonhill, who has been at the club since the 80's, has reported to other sources that he will happily remain a director of the club.

It remains to see who will takeover the hotseat of Cobblers chairman, with takeover talks still reported in the background, it's a case of wait and see.

Meanwhile Town play Cambridge on Saturday, there will be a party atmosphere for Claret Day III. Player of the Season will be presented at 2.45pm and the team will do a lap of honour to show their appreciation to the supporters following a tough season.
