Good Friday's relegation showdown between Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton Town ended in a 1-1 draw which leaves both sides on the same number of points at the foot of League Two.

An early own goal from Wycombe goalkeeper Ingram gave the Cobblers a crucial lead but the hosts were level within six minutes, a goal that keeps them out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

With Bristol Rovers travelling to Portsmouth on Saturday and draws for Exeter, Morecambe and Accrington Stanley it is very much as you were for Town.

They will now be hoping for a Pompey win which nonetheless takes plenty out of Easter Monday's Sixfields opponents.

Reaction: Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth was left to reflect on what he felt was a 'legitimate' late goal for his side that was ruled out for offside.

'The linesman has cost us a couple of points that could be huge come the end of the year.'
