Vice-chairman Tim Russon told Bulls Player: "We're still obviously waiting to make an appointment, we've been surprised and flattered by how many managers have thrown their hat into the ring, ex-players and coaches as well.
"It's taken longer than we thought because June is the holiday month for football and it's also the World Cup so there's loads of guys in South Africa and we've had calls from as far afield as New Zealand from people on holiday.
"So we've had to extend the search but we've now got ourselves focused and hopefully next week we'll have a new manager here. Hopefully next week, everything will become clear."
