At moment though it's points that are needed and the sooner Town get some on the board the better.
In this match v Soutrhend the visitors were 1 up at half time. Akinfenwa levelled after the break but then two goals in four mins extended Southend's lead to 3 - 1.
An 80th minute goal from Aleksander Prijovic reduced the deficit but that was good as it got.
Town go to Orient next Saturday.
Northampton have two games in hand on the four clubs immediately above them, wins in those two games would lift the club above all four of those teams. The games have to be won though.
