Gray will make changes and Akinfenwa could be given the chance to show what he can do. He's scored a couple of reserve team goals but did not come off the bench on Tuesday night.
"Bayo didn't come on the other night because we got people injured and the changes we had to make were all defenders," said Gray.
"We had to take Brett Johnson and Mark Little off because they picked up knocks, and Giles Coke was starting to tire as the game went on.
"But Bayo is getting fitter and sharper in training every day and he's very close. He's not going to be far away from starting for us."
Johnson and Little face late fitness tests.
